Morgan is the Marketing and Communications Director for The Energy Co-op. Morgan has spent most of his career promoting renewable energy and sustainable development in both the non-profit and private sectors. He started his career working for a national climate change policy think tank and more recently, managed communications and community engagement for a major producer of bioenergy. He loves to share his enthusiasm for renewable energy with anyone who will listen and looks forward to talking your ear off at a future Co-op event.
Morgan is a Maryland native, but has lived in (in no particular order): Ohio, Colorado, Washington D.C., Delaware, China and Costa Rica. He is proud to have called Philadelphia home for the past couple of years and loves exploring all that the city of brotherly love has to offer. He is deeply involved in the greater Philadelphia community. He serves on the board of the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance and frequently volunteers with several social service organizations. He has a bachelor’s in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College, a master’s in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from the United Nations University for Peace and a master’s in International Affairs from American University in Washington, D.C.
